Quick rough drawings to plan the landscape of my cryengine environment for experiment 2 and the placement of the monuments for each artist.

For Tadao Ando's monument (the use of light is evident in Ando's  architecture, creating a sense of exterior light penetrating the interior), I wanted emphasize the different perspectives of light from different angles especially focusing upon the light filtering and penetrating through the dense forest into the clearing by the beach where the monument is.

In contrast to this, the environment for Walter Burley Griffin's monument, (group of buildings which faced one another to give that sense of separation and administrative zones.), I wanted to create a strong sense of separation and thus was inspired by the environment of this video as it seemed perfect for the feeling which I wished to convey.

and sketchup axonometric models.
